BORN IN A TIME OF WAR
Binwa Mongolare, center, had been living in the bush for months, hiding from a rebel group led by a man called Tcheka, known for vicious rapes and murders, before coming to the "Village de Accueil" at Masisi Hospital in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, July 30, 2014. The village is the temporary home for 50 women who are in their final months of high risk pregnancy. " I was really sick," said Binwa. When she arrived on June 28, she had malaria and dangerously low blood pressure. "You have to have a lot of money for drugs because there’s no way to get to health center."
